Privacy statement

To filter email, SpamFactor processes personal data on behalf of its customers. This page explains what we process, why, and for how long.

What we process

For every message sent to a domain we filter, we record the sender and recipient addresses, the IP address of the sending server, the subject, the size, the score and the reasons for the decision. Of messages classified as spam, we keep a complete copy in quarantine.

Why

We use this data only to filter email, to show our customers what the filter did and why, to let them release messages, and to improve the filter. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell or share it.

How long

• Message details (sender, recipients, subject, score and reasons): 3 months
• Copies of spam in quarantine: 30 days

After that, the data is deleted automatically.

Where

All data is processed and stored on servers in the European Union.
